Product Overview
GOSPELL’s GT-5900-OD is an outdoor UHF Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) transmitter, and is designed for small areas coverage and (or) gap filling application in DTT network. GT-5900-OD has combined many design concepts from our rich experience in terrestrial television broadcasting, bringing service providers a network which has superior efficiency, stability and reliability. These models support various modulation standards of digital terrestrial television, such as DVB-T/H, DVB-T2, DTMB, ATSC, ISDB-T/Tb, also it can operate in SFN mode enabling less frequency resource is used.
GT-5900-OD adopts advanced LDMOS amplifiers and has a compact structure that enables the broadcaster or network operator to have reduced site acquisition and energy cost in their DTT network. In order to minimize the attenuation of RF output power in the feeder cable, the unit can be fixed on top of the tower of the base station by a pole mounted kit that can greatly shorten the length of the feeder cable between the transmitter and the transmitting antenna. GT-5900-OD series has an aluminum alloy housing, compact size and a high protection level that can protect the electronics from heat emissions and weather. Various other forms of protection are taken into account, such as over excitation, over-current, over-temperature, lighting-proof and VSWR protections.
GT-5900-OD series supports Web/SNMP based management and maintenance for remote status monitoring and controls, this can significantly reduce management time and operating expense (OPEX). By incorporating the latest technologies of RF delay, echo cancellation, frequency shift and co-channel interference rejection, this unit can fulfill the needs for DTT coverage of SD and HD digital television programs. This is especially suitable for small-scale coverage areas with complex terrains.
