Burmet 410 Series Solenoid Valve Installation Instructions
The Boermet 410 series solenoid valve has many advantages such as simple structure, high reliability and excellent performance. The excellent structural design ensures that it is suitable for various working conditions and the working condition is stable.
These instructions must be read carefully when installing, using, and maintaining this solenoid valve.
First, the working principle
1. The solenoid valve is normally closed, that is, the valve is closed when the power is not supplied; the valve is opened after the power is turned on.
2. Open the electromagnetic head according to the control signal, so that the water in the signal tube enters the upper chamber of the valve through the electromagnetic valve, and the valve is closed after the upper chamber is filled with water. When the solenoid valve is closed, the upper chamber drains and the valve opens.
Second, the solenoid valve installation
1. The valve body casing is marked with “→", which is the direction of water flow in the solenoid valve. When installing, be sure to match the "→" with the direction in which the water flow in the valve body passes.
2. The colored disc on the valve body of the solenoid valve (see the figure below), there are three positions: OPEN, AUT0 and CL0SE.
Each location function is as follows
(I) AUTo: The controller is remotely controlled, and the solenoid valve is automatically turned on and off according to the controller's instruction. Both: the valve opens when the valve is open when there is power, and the valve closes when there is no power.
※ If the remote controller is used to control the opening and closing of the solenoid valve. When installing, be sure to align the “→" in front of the black handle with AUT0.
(2) OPEN: not controlled by the controller, the valve is always in the "open" state
3 CLOSE: Not controlled by the controller, the valve is always in the "off" state
3. There are a variety of electromagnetic heads for the Bermet solenoid valve. Please adjust the solenoid switch according to the following steps.
(1) S-390 (AG or D) electromagnetic head: Manual switch 1 has two positions, see the right picture.
a. When the white handle is facing up, the electromagnetic head is in normal working condition, both: the valve is open when there is electricity, and the valve is closed when there is no electricity.
※If you use the remote controller to control the opening and closing of the solenoid valve, be sure to set the color handle upwards when installing.
b. If the white handle is screwed to the side position, the valve is always open regardless of the presence or absence of an electrical signal.
(2) S-400 (AC or D) or S-402 (pulse) solenoid: The manual switch 2 has three positions.
a. When the black handle is facing up, the electromagnetic head is in normal working condition, both: the valve is open when there is electricity, and the valve is closed when there is no electricity.
※If you use the remote controller to control the opening and closing of the solenoid valve, be sure to put the black handle up when installing.
b. If the black handle is screwed to the left position (away from the middle port), the valve is always open regardless of the electrical signal or pilot valve.
c. If the black handle is screwed to the right position (in the direction of the middle port), the valve is always closed regardless of the electrical signal or pilot valve.
4. Leave appropriate space around the installation of the solenoid valve for installation, commissioning, and future maintenance and overhaul
5. Before installation, the debris left in the pipeline should be completely cleaned to ensure the normal operation of the solenoid valve after watering. Otherwise, these debris may block the external hose of the solenoid valve, causing the solenoid valve to malfunction.
6. It is convenient for the maintenance and repair of the solenoid valve in the future. At the water inlet end of the solenoid valve, the isolation valve should be installed.
Third, the solenoid valve is waterproof
Loosen the black nut on the inlet valve body (see the figure on the right, the black nut on the left side above the bottom flange), the water in the valve body can be drained, but the water in the diaphragm diaphragm cannot be drained. Exposed hose memory water.
※Note: This method cannot be used as a solenoid valve antifreeze measure.
Fourth, solenoid valve antifreeze
When the ambient temperature of the solenoid valve installation is below zero, the solenoid valve should take the following antifreeze measures:
1. The solenoid valve is installed in the closable valve box (well) below the surface. The installation depth of the solenoid valve is lower than the antifreeze layer.
2. When the solenoid valve is installed above the surface, use heating measures such as electric heating, hot water (gas) and heat to ensure that the water in the solenoid valve will not freeze, especially in the outer hose (command tube). Icing.
3. When the solenoid valve installed above the surface is stopped for a long time in winter, and there is no heating protection measures, the following measures should be taken:
(1) Open the drain hole on the side of the solenoid valve to drain the water in the valve body.
(2) Disassemble the external hose (command tube) interface and drain the water in the hose.
(3) If necessary, remove the bonnet to completely remove water from the valve.
