working principle

The external pressure 1 enters the control chamber [2] via the open manual selection device [3]. The increase in control chamber pressure causes the diaphragm spool assembly [4] to move to the closed position. When the manual control device is used to discharge the pressure in the control chamber, the system pressure pushes the diaphragm spool assembly and the valve opens.
