Micro switch is also called limit switch. It is an external mechanical force actingon the action reed through the transmission elements (push pin, button, lever, roller, etc.),

When the action spring moves to the critical point, it produces instantaneous action,which makes the moving contact and the fixed contact at the end of the action spring quickly connect or disconnect.

When the force on the driving element is removed, the action spring produces reverseaction force. When the reverse travel of the driving element reaches the critical point of the spring, the reverse action is completed instantaneously.

Micro switch has the advantages of small contact distance, short action stroke, small pressing powerａnd quick on-off. The action speed of the moving contact has nothing to do with the action speed of the transmission element.
