Description

Morgan bearing ring with wiping function type FAI is mainly used on piston rods. It allows space-saving construction due to its integrated wiping function. It provides guiding and bearing surfaces between rod and housing and prevents metal to metal contact between them.

The Morgan bearing ring FAI consists of an extremely abrasion-resistant and low friction POM-PTFE Bronze compound. The excellent dry-running properties allow installation behind the primary rod seal.

The FAI utilizes a scraper edge for integrated wiping function and contaminant removal. It has a U-shaped cross-section and is split with an angled butt joint. It can be spirally compressed inwards for fitting into the rod housing where it springs back out into corresponding installation grooves. The bearing groove arrangement secures it against axial movement.

Nylon PA, POM and PTFE.

Working condition

Speed: ≤3m/s

Working temperature ：-55～225℃（above 120℃，Using PTFE）

Working Media：It can be used for hydraulic oil with a mineral oil base, for water-oil emulsions and for fire-resistant fluids as well as compressed air.

Fitting

The split FAI bearing ring is compressed spirally and will snap easily into corresponding grooves in the cylinder head.
