The instrument itself can provide working power for the test part without external power supply, so that the transformer capacity Testing is more convenient and quicker.

IV. Judgment method of transformer capacity
The instrument can measure and judge S7, S9, S11, S13, S15, SZ7, SZ9, SZ11 series 10kV power transformers, S7, S9, S11, SZ7, SZ9, SZ11 series 35kV power transformers, SG8, SG9, SG10, SC8, Capacity and type of SC9, SC10 series dry-type distribution transformers and D9, D10, D11 series single-phase distribution transformers. It can test the capacity of S series 35kV, 63kV, 110kV power transformers, SG(C) series 35kV dry-type transformers, three-phase and single-phase electric furnace transformers.
1. Carry out the no-load test of the transformer as usual.
2. Carry out transformer load test. If the set capacity is close to the actual capacity, the test can be carried out according to the prompt current and 50% to 80% of the rated current. The set capacity and the actual capacity are far away or difficult to determine. You can test according to the voltage, that is, the test voltage is given to 2.5~3.5% of the rated voltage (the test voltage is 250V~350V when the rated voltage is 10kV, and the test voltage is 6kV. Measure the load loss and other parameters when the voltage is 150V ~ 200V).
3. Enter the "transformer test record analysis" menu, the instrument will automatically judge the transformer capacity. It also displays the judgment result, as well as the standard parameters such as transformer no-load loss, no-load current, load loss, impedance voltage, and the deviation of the test value from the standard value. The transformer reference type and reference capacity can be selected, and the instrument will display the characteristic parameters of the transformer under different capacities and the deviation from the standard value. Press the "Save" button to save the judgment result.
4. For non-standard and electric furnace transformers, the rated impedance of the transformer must be input, and the load test must be performed at the rated tap. Generally, the rated tap of a power transformer is an intermediate tap, and the rated tap of an electric furnace transformer is a tap of the highest output voltage. During the load test, the low voltage must be reliably short-circuited with a special short-circuit bar, and the short-circuit point of the electric furnace transformer should be as close as possible to the root of the outlet.
5. When the transformer tap position is at a non-rated tap, you can set "Test tap" under the "Test product parameter setting" menu for capacity measurement, but measurement at a non-rated tap may introduce errors. Therefore, it is recommended that users set the transformer to the main tap for measurement when conditions permit.
If the transformer characteristic test is not performed on the test product, only the transformer capacity test item is performed. The test product type judged by the instrument is the reference type, which is for reference only.
