III. Brief introduction of working principle
The circuit of the time calibration device is divided into: trigger circuit, high-speed presettable counter circuit, high-precision crystal oscillator circuit, single-chip control circuit, and output control circuit.
1. 12 circuit break time:
Analog high-voltage circuit breaker 12-way contact output, the first 6-way A1, B1, C1, A2, B2, C2 and the front black grounding jack share the same ground, the rear 6-way A3, B3, C3, A4, B4, C4 and the front end are black The grounding jack has a common ground, which is called a virtual ground. If you want to measure 12 channels at the same time, you must ensure that the two grounds are connected.
It supports setting different time for each fracture and different period setting.
2. Active input external trigger:
The trigger voltage is provided by the calibrated high-voltage switch tester, and the range of input trigger voltage is: DC10-250V.
3. Trigger within active output:
The calibration device provides a trigger voltage to trigger the calibrated high-voltage switch tester. The output voltage is about DC 110V.
4. Passive trigger terminal:
Mainly used to calibrate this device.
V. Specific instructions for use
1. Connect the ground wire (ground wire, fracture wire and control wire) of the test wire between the high-voltage switch tester and the verification device of the high-voltage switch tester. Then turn it on, in order to ensure the reliability of the instrument, turn it on and preheat for more than 5 minutes before performing the test.
2. Calibrate the specific setting and operation of the time parameters of the high-voltage switch tester:
The bounce frequency can be selected from 1K, 2K, 4K, 8K. The bounce frequency corresponds to the fineness of the bounce. The higher the frequency, the finer the bounce. The bounce interval of 1KHz is 1/1000=0.001S=1ms, and the bounce interval of 2KHz is 1/2000=0.0005S=0.5ms.
Operation method: enter [1, time bounce setting] in the main menu
Setting of the calibrated high-voltage switch tester: trigger mode: internal trigger
Output voltage: it is appropriate to adjust to between DC100-DC220V
Specific wiring: The red terminal of the verification device is connected to the closing + of the internal DC output power of the high voltage switch tester, the black terminal is connected to the negative of the internal DC output power of the high voltage switch tester, and the green is connected to the internal DC output power of the high voltage switch tester. Gate+.
Operation method: Enter [2, time bounce setting] in the main menu:
Press the up key to enter the position to be modified, such as the A1 closing time break, press the [OK] key, and then press the left and right keys to move the cursor left and right to the corresponding position, and press the up and down keys to modify the number. After modification, press the [OK] key to save the setting, and then press the up, down, left, and right keys to enter other places that need to be modified, and modify according to the above method. After the modification, move the cursor to the [Save] at the bottom of the screen 】, press 【OK】key to save.
Then move the cursor to [3. Time bounce calibration] on the main menu interface, and press the [OK] key to enter,
Press【OK】key to select closing check:
Press the right button to move the cursor to the start of verification:
Press【OK】to start the test:
Observe that the fracture status on the right end of the screen of the verification device will change. If it was opened before, then directly operate the calibrated high-voltage switch tester to perform the closing test (if it is closed. At this time, directly operate the calibrated high-voltage switch tester to perform the opening test), and the verification device operates (you will hear the bee Buzzer sound), wait for the end of the measurement, the tested high-voltage switch tester will display the corresponding waveform and time, synchronization, bounce and other data.
The above operation is to use the internal output power of the high voltage switch tester to trigger the verification device. The verification device is waiting, and the high-voltage switch tester outputs a signal to make the detection system work normally.
A Verification device setting: trigger mode: internal trigger
Trigger type: active trigger
Pulse output: node output
Setting of the calibrated high-voltage switch tester: trigger mode: external trigger
This is to use the verification device to trigger the high-voltage switch tester. The high-voltage switch tester is waiting, and the verification device outputs a signal to make the detection system work normally.
Specific wiring method: If the external trigger of the high-voltage switch tester has only two wires, just connect them regardless of positive and negative. If the external trigger of the high-voltage switch tester has four wires (2 for closing and 2 for opening), use the active output internal trigger mode to operate, and the wire needs to be turned down. That is, during closing verification, the two binding posts are respectively connected to the external closing trigger terminals (red and black jacks) triggered by the high-voltage switch tester; during opening verification, the two binding posts are respectively connected to the external triggering points of the high-voltage switch tester. Trigger terminals outside the gate (green and black jacks).
Refer to the previous article for specific operation methods.
According to the fracture status displayed on the verification device: if it is open, operate the high-voltage switch tester for closing test; if it is closed, operate the high-voltage switch tester for opening test. First operate the high-voltage switch tester to be in the waiting state for triggering, then move the cursor of the verification device to the [Start Calibration] on the right, and press the [OK] button to send a trigger command: the internal trigger signal changes from waiting to output, The calibration device drives the instrument to complete the action, and the corresponding waveform and time, synchronization, bounce and other data appear on the instrument interface.
5.3. Calibrate the specific settings and operations of the verification device of the high-voltage switch tester:
Set the verification device: trigger mode: internal trigger
Trigger type: passive trigger
Pulse output: TTL level output
Connect the positive + of the external 5V power supply to a 1K, 2W resistor in series, and then connect it to the detected fracture port, such as A1. The negative pole of the external 5V power supply-directly connected to the black grounding jack.
Use Agilent 53230A universal counter for time calibration, or use a high-precision oscilloscope to observe: Passive trigger negative-connect to the ground of the oscilloscope, probe 1 connects to passive trigger positive +, and probe 2 connects to the test device to be detected fracture, such as A1. See below:
Passive internal trigger is a falling edge trigger, a falling edge trigger when closing, and a rising edge trigger when opening.
