I. Overview
This booster is a dedicated supporting instrument for the volt-ampere characteristic tester (hereinafter referred to as the "volt-ampere host"). The maximum voltage reaches 2500V, and the maximum current is 3A. Used for high inflection point (inflection point voltage greater than 1000V) current transformer or voltage transformer volt-ampere characteristic test and AC withstand voltage test with withstand voltage greater than 1000V.

4.1 Scope of use
This booster can only be used in conjunction with ct pt test set, and has the following two functions:
1. Used for high inflection point (inflection point voltage greater than 1000V) current transformer or voltage transformer volt-ampere characteristics test;
2. Used for AC withstand voltage test with AC withstand voltage greater than 1000V.
Note: It is strictly forbidden to use a booster for other tests.
4.2 Current transformer operation
1). Volt-ampere characteristic booster parameter setting: in the current transformer volt-ampere characteristic test interface. Measurement method selection: booster, the maximum output voltage and maximum output current are set according to the tested product.
2). AC withstand voltage booster parameter setting: in the current transformer AC withstand voltage test interface. Measurement method selection: booster, test voltage is set according to test requirements. Setting principle: When the AC withstand voltage test voltage is greater than 1000V, the measurement method selects a booster. At this time, the default voltage of the instrument is 1500V.
Wiring of AC withstand voltage booster: The wiring method of the booster is shown in Figure 5. The test method is the same as that of the single volt-ampere host.
4.3 Voltage transformer operation
1). Volt-ampere characteristic booster parameter setting: in the voltage transformer's volt-ampere characteristic test interface. Measurement method selection: booster, the maximum output voltage and maximum output current are set according to the tested product.
2). AC withstand voltage booster parameter setting: in the AC withstand voltage test interface of the voltage transformer. Measurement method selection: booster, test voltage is set according to test requirements. Setting principle: When the AC withstand voltage test voltage is greater than 1000V, the measurement method selects a booster. At this time, the default voltage of the instrument is 1500V.
