Arrester Tester

HM6020 zinc oxide arrester tester is specially designed for detecting the internal defects of poor electrical contact between clearance zinc oxide arrester MOA valves used in power systems up to 10kV and below , to measure the leakage current of MOA at DC reference voltage (U1mA) and 0.75 U1mA .The instrument is composed of dc high voltage power supply, measurement and control system,ａnd all components are concentrated in one case, in small size and light weight . It is an essential equipment for the field test of power system and zinc oxide arrester.

1.Open the cover of the instrument case and firmly ground the instrument case.

2. Insert one end of the lightning arrester into the high pressure bushing of the instrument (H end), the other end is clamped with a wire clip. Or a special insulated wire is used to lead out the external connection test product from the high voltage end.

3. Close the power switch,after the internal self-inspection of the instrument, the alarm light is on and the discharge light is on. Press the test button, and the indicator value of the two watch heads is zero ±1 word.

4. Press the reset button, the alarm lamp will be off, and the instrument will enter the detection state for testing.

5.Press the test button for about 1 second and then release it. The instrument will automatically complete all the test items of MOA.

6.Attention

(1) If the detection button is pressed and the alarm light is on, it indicates that there is a defect of poor contact inside the MOA,or the external connection is weak.After the discharge lamp is on, check whether there is a problem with the external wiring, or press the reset button after replacing the sample for the next test.

(2) If the alarm light is not on, it indicates that the internal contact of MOA is good and there is no wiring problem,the instrument will automatically enter the status of measuring U1mA and Id, and the test results are displayed on the meter header. After the discharge lamp is on, the test is finished, remove the test wiring or replace the sample for the next test.
