1.When the leak cannot be detected, increase the sensitivity. When the reset cannot make the instrument "reset", lower the sensitivity.

2.In severely polluted areas, the instrument should be reset in time to eliminate the influence of the environment on the instrument. Do not move the probe when resetting. The instrument can be reset as many times as needed.

3.Windy areas, even large leaks are difficult to find. In this case, it is best to cover the potential leakage area.

4.The probe may alarm when it comes into contact with moisture or solvents, so avoid touching them when checking for leaks.

Proper maintenance is very necessary for your leak detector. Carefully following the instructions below will reduce failures and increase the life of this product.

Warning: Be sure to turn off the power before replacing the probe, otherwise it may cause a slight electric shock!

Keep the probe clean: Use the attached protective cover to prevent dust, water vapor, and grease from blocking the probe. This product is disabled without a protective cover.

Before using this product, check that the probe and protective cover are free of dust or grease.

Clean:

1. Pull down the protective cover

2. Clean the protective cover with industrial towels or compressed air

3. If the probe itself is dirty, immerse it in a mild detergent like alcohol for a few seconds, and then clean it with compressed air or industrial towels.

Note: Never use solvents such as gasoline, turpentine, mineral oil, etc., because they will remain on the probe and reduce the sensitivity of the instrument.

Replace the probe: The probe will eventually fail and needs to be replaced. Since the life of the probe is directly related to the usage conditions and frequency, it is difficult to predict the exact replacement time. When alarming or unstable in clean, pure air, the probe should be replaced.
