Partial discharge measuring equipment is one higher requirement for hipot testers.

1. The test personnel should do a good job division of responsibilities and set the safety distance of the test site.

2. Carefully check the grounding conditions of the tested object and the test transformer, and have a dedicated person to monitor safety and observe the status of the tested object .

3. The main parts of the tested object should be clear and clean, and kept absolutely dry, so as not to damage the tested object and cause the error of the test value.

4. For the test of large equipment, the no-load test of the test transformer should generally be carried out first, that is, the test power supply is raised when the test product is not connected, so that the indicating accuracy of the instrument can be checked.

5. During the test, if the following abnormal conditions are found:

The indicator needle of voltage and ammeter swings greatly;

The test object makes an abnormal noise;

Found that the insulation is scorched or smoked,

The voltage should be reduced immediately, the power supply should be cut off, the test should be stopped and the cause should be found out.
