When do test for insulation resistance of large capacity electric device, the insulating resistance value in connection with the withstａnd voltage time. The longer the withstａnd voltage time is, the bigger the insulating resistance value is. This phenomenon is known as insulating absorption. To understａnd the insulating properties of tested object, the absorption ratio and polarization index should test first, so as to provide security assurance for the next step of leakage, dielectric loss, PD test, etc.

In order to meet the above test requirements,our factory has launched the 5000V HV Insulation Tester with large-capacity, high-anti-interference and stable performance. It conducts insulation, absorption ratio, and polarization index tests on power equipment to provide accurate early judgments for a series of insulation tests.

The 5000V HV Insulation Tester is suitable for measuring the insulation resistance of large-capacity transformers, transformers, generators, high-voltage motors and lightning arresters, etc.

1. Short circuit current greater than 3.3mA, high test accuracy, strong anti-interference ability! (As is known, the ability of charging current directly affects the insulation value test of large-capacity capacitive samples, so a large charging current is needed. The stronger the charging ability is, the closer the absorption ratio test value is to the true value. At the same time, adopting voltage and current sampling for division operation, so the resistance value calculated by Ohm's theorem is accurate even if the voltage changes during the test.)

2. HV Insulation Tester adopts the principle of combining digital pointers, and outputs 4 voltages: 500V, 1000V, 2500V, 5000V.

3. Equipped with a large-capacity lithium rechargeable battery, has function output AC and DC voltage， also has function of under-voltage warning and battery overcharge protection.
