Earth Continuity Tester

The reliable and effective connection of the down conductor of power equipment with the ground grid is the fundamental guarantee for the safe operation of the equipment. The down conductor is the part of power equipment connected with ground grid. During the long-time running of the power equipment, there might be phenomena caused by the damp and other factors, such as contact corrosion or even fracture, in the connection, which will cause the increase of resistance of connection point between the down conductor and the main ground grid and that the requirements of the power regulations cannot be met and then the equipment may have unsafe potential in operation or run under grounding failure if serious.

The HM3002-10A earth continuity tester is a portable tester with high automation developed by our company, and it is mainly used to measure the on-resistance of the down conductor of power equipment in the substation. Controlled by high-performance single-chip, the tester can realize the test procedure intelligent, with advantages of small size, being convenient to carry, simple operation, high precision, fast test speed, good retest performance and intuitive reading, and is also an ideal special instrument meeting the requirements of the regulations.
