HM9800 underground cable and pipe detector is used to detect the location and depth of underground cables, optical cables, and metal pipelines. the detector is also suitable for pipeline units such as communications, telecommunications, electricity, cable television, water supply, and gas.
HM9800 Underground Cable and Pipe Detector adopts two gain modes: automatic real-time gain and manual gain. It displays peak and valley signals at the same time. One-click direct reading test depth and one-key direct reading of current value. the operation is simple and convenient.
The HM9800 Underground Cable and Pipe Detector is equipped with an external sheath fault location function. The transmitter can output a 4.8Hz fault location frequency. The A-frame can accurately find and locate the fault point of the cable and the outer sheath of the optical cable.
Optional accessories "sonde " can detect and locate non-metal drainage pipes.
The cable and pipe detector can automatically select the best search frequency, automatically measure the loop resistance, and the continuous automatic impedance matching function ensures the best signal output.
The receiver of the detector can receive two passive frequencies and two active frequencies. Intelligent operation instructions such as automatic real-time gain adjustment and left-right direction indication make it the easiest locator to use.

The A-frame accessories is used to detect ground fault on pipes and cables.In the case of pipes,the fault consist of coating defects.In the case of cables,faults are usually caused by insulation damage allowing the metallic sheath(or internal conductor) to become in contact with th ground.

12V DC,30ft(10m) lead to power the transmitter from a vehicle.
Note,this is not a charge lead.
If it is intended to apply the transmitter to a target line at high out levels and long periods,it may be useful to power the transmitter using the 12V DC vehicle power lead.To power the transmitter from the 12V DC vehicle power lead,connect the lead to the 12V DC input positioned on the side of the transmitter.Plug the cigarette lighter plug into the vehicle cigarette lighter socket(be sure that the socket is live,some vehicles only acticate the cigarette lighter when the vehicle is running).
It is not necessary to disconnect or remove the standard batteries as the unit will automatically select the external 12V DC supply

LPC Separation Filter(optional)
The LPC separation filter(LPC) is used to safely inject a trace tone to a live cable via a domestic mains socket, so that the cable can be traced from the premises to the connection in the street,it it suitable for connecting to voltages between 100V AC and 250V AC.
Receiver Vehicle Charging Lead(optional)
12ft(4m) long lead to charge the receiver’s battery (lithium-ion) while on the move.
