Q. How to protection laser equipment in summer?

Laser Source protection

Water tank auxiliary cooling

During the daily use of the laser, a water tank is needed for auxiliary cooling. If it is not protected, condensate water is likely to appear inside the laser, causing damage to internal electrical components or modules. In the hot summer, we usually set the cooling water temperature to 24 ℃.

Air conditioning room assisted cooling and dehumidification

The summer is very hot and humid, we need to configure an air-conditioned room for the laser source, and it is recommended to set the temperature between 22 ℃-26 ℃. Keep empty every day after work, set the dehumidification function.

Water Chiller Protection

The air inlet of the water tank is on the side, and the air outlet is on the top. (The air outlet of some water tanks is on the side, and the air inlet is in front.) When the air inlet is full of dust, it will affect the heat dissipation of the water tank, causing a high temperature alarm of the water tank. Therefore, we must pay attention to ensuring the ventilation and ventilation around the water tank, without placing shelters and doing a good job of cleaning.

Electrical Cabinet Protection
