Product Details
I. brief introduction of UV Laser Marking machine
UV laser is used in specific applications where ultraviolet wavelength is necessary to create marking. This holds true for delicate materials such as thin latex and plastics. The UV laser light directly breaks the bonds holding the material surface together. This atomization, being a cold process, produces virtually no peripheral heating. In contrast, IR or other laser types produce intense local heat that can melt or vaporize the material. This can cause serious damage to surrounding areas, thereby reducing its strength and thermal integrity.
They can work at very high speeds and reduce cycle time considerably in industrial operations. Hence they are used to make precise marks on semiconductors and plastics such as PVC, ABS, Polypropylene, etc. However their use can be extended to metals, paper, ceramic chips, etc.
