The LZZB -24kV current transformer is epoxy resin cast fully enclosed structure product, which is suitable for indoor power lines and equipment with rated frequency of 50Hz/60Hz and rated voltage of 20kV
Product Details
The LZZBJ9-24 current transformer is cast in resin and designed for protection and measurement purposes in power system of 50/60Hz, 24kV or below. Especially, it has excellent performance in high humidity area.
A current transformer is one that converts a large current into a current that is measurable, standard, proportional to the original signal and in phase. Current transformers may be equipped with one or more independent ferromagnetic cores of silicon or nickel-iron steel.
The secondary winding (W2) is symmetrically wound around the core. This leads to strong magnetic coupling between primary and secondary windings. The number of turns of the secondary winding depends on the ratio of the primary rated current to the secondary rated current. The core and secondary windings must be grounded.
The primary winding (W1) consists of a solid winding (primary conductor) or a number of turns, depending on the primary rated current and short current (Ith). The primary winding is designed for the rated current and has the same potential as the bus. W1 and W2 windings, as well as the core and secondary windings, are made by pressure gel solidification process, completely embedded with resin, and completed by one casting.
