The fuse bushing is made of epoxy resin. Because of its non tracking, self marking, non weathering, resistance to repeated heating to 120 degrees Fahrenheit and cooling to - 40 degrees Fahrenheit, the epoxy resin has perfect mechanical and electrical properties in the manufacture of bushings and insulators. In addition, epoxy insulators and bushings allow metal conductors and other types of metal inserts to be part of the casting.
