LBS load break switch Applications:

SF6 gas insulated load break switch is outdoor type pole mounted 11KV 3 phase 50/60Hz ac SF6 insulated. The make and break switching operation can be performed in " ON/ OFF LOAD" condition,used for the sectionalization of HT network

The assembly of Sf6 insulated load break switch is supplied as a single unit with single pole mounting arrangement and can be manually operated. The unit can facilitate the installation of the assembly on both sides (left or right) of the pole to operate and install the operating handle in accordance with the site conditions.Implementt electro motion and distant. The electric controller was installed in stainless steel cabinet. So it could use in any conditions.


Tank case material is stainless steel:

Tank case is designed for its maximum robustness so that at a maximum bursting pressure of the tank,switching operaion is not disturbed. Moreover, its minimum welding line of stainless steel tank case results in minimum corrosion

The insulation of load break switch is SF6 gas,meets the requirement of IEC60376 latest application. To maintain the insulating capacity of SF6 gas during the service life of switch, a moisture and de-composed gas obsorber contain in the tank

The enclosure is sealed for life and meets "Pressurized sealed system" criteria in conformity with the standard IEC62271-1

SF6 load break switch is fitted with safety bursting mumbrane located in the safest part of the tank. It will avoid any damage to the operator in case of an overpressure (internal arc). opening the membrane before the tank or bushing are destroyed.

A low pressure gauge is provided at the bottom of tank which can be visible /readable by operator along with the low pressure lockout mechanism, which interlocks/ prevents the electrical and mechanical operation if the gas pressure is low.

The polymer insulators are made of HTV (High Temperature Vulcanization) silicone rubber polymer having excellent hydrophobic properties so as to meet the electrical and mechanical characteristics of international standards IEC61109,60383 & 62271 (Latest edition). The insulators is grey color and free from cracks and any other visible coating defects.


The mechanical and electrical characteristics of the silicon rubber insulator is as under:
