There is an inductive capacitance between any two conductive objects. A button, namely, a solder pad and the earth, can also constitute an inductive capacitance. When a human finger is close to the touch button, the inductive capacitance made by the human finger and the earth in parallel with the inductive capacitance made by the earth solder pad will increase the total inductive capacitance value. Capacitive touch button IC will output a confirmed signal that a key has been pressed after detecting a change in the inductive capacitance value of a key.
