Introduction
The friability tester or brittleness tester is a special instrument for checking the friability of a tablet. The device is a transparent wear-resistant plastic cylinder with an inner diameter of 286 mm and a depth of 39 mm, which can be opened one side. The cylinder has an arc-shaped spacer extending from the center to the outer wall (the inner diameter is 80 mm + 1 mm), so that when the cylinder is rotated, The tablet is rolled, the cylinder is rotated one turn, and the tablet rolls or slides onto the wall or other tablet. The FT-2000A has an adjustable speed.
