XHS-36 Low Temperature Brittleness Tester
Low Temperature Brittleness Tester is used to determine the brittleness temperature, specimens are secured to a specimen holder using a torque wrench. The specimen holder is immersed in a bath containing a heat-transfer medium, which has been cooled. The specimens are struck at a specified linear speed and then examined for failures. The brittleness temperature is defined as the temperature at which 50% of the specimens would probably fail.
Striking device and its accessories is made of XAR450 Germany anti-abrasion steel plate.
Thermal insulation material: use high density glass fiber cotton, insulation thickness of 80mm, ensure the temperature is constant during the testing .
Has mixing system to let temperature in low temperature chamber keep uniformity.
Has feet wheel for moving machine easily.
Heating system use stainless steel heating tube.
The cooling compressor use Italian brand aspera.
PID Temperature controller to control temperature accurately.
