XHV-17 Valley Type Beater
23-liter Valley Beater is an international equipment for papermaking labs and a necessary equipment for studying pulping and papermaking processes. The beater cuts, crushes, rubs, breaks up, moistens and refines all kinds of fiber pulp by means of the mechanical action produced by the beater roll and the bottom knife. The change of pulp with different beating degrees, etc. can be obtained according to pressure on the bottom knife and beating duration. The valley beater, which is widely used in the beating test of various vegetable, synthetic, carbon and glass fibers, is an essential papermaking test equipment for production test, quality control, process design, and teaching and scientific research experiments.
The beater meets standard requirements such as ISO 5264/I, TAPPI-T200, and GB7980-87 pulps-laboratory beating-Valley beater method. The type of beater can change weight pressure and beating duration and automatically control the beating duration; therefore different test results are obtained. Working principle: Beating is the mechanical processing of fiber in water and the mechanical action applied on fiber between the beater roll and the bottom knife, with the purpose of cutting, crushing and hydrating fiber.
Structure: The beater is comprised of a pulp tank, a beater roller, a lifting lever for the bottom knife, a pulp discharge valve, a V-belt, a motor, a beater cover, and a control box, etc.
