Overhead Bare Conductors Aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced is widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels. are formed by several wires of aluminium alloy and galvanized steel, stranded in concentric layers.The wire or wires which form the core, are made of galvanized steel and the external layer or layers, are made of aluminium alloy. Galvanized steel core consist normally of 7, 19, 37 and 61 wires.
Aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced is also suitable for all practical transmission towers and other structures. Applications range from ultra-high voltage transmission lines to power distribution in private places or utilization voltages sub-service spans like ACSR.
