Application
XHHW-2 building wire are primarily use for power distribution and may be used in wet or dry locations, with ambient temperatures not exceeding 90°C. Voltage rating is 600V. XHHW-2 building wire can be used in conduit and other raceways for services, feeders and other applications recognized by the NEC. Sizes 1/0 AWG and larger (4 AWG and larger in green) are cable tray (CT) rated. The cable is rated at 600 volts and 90°C for use in wet and dry locations.

Compact stranded AA-8000 series aluminum alloy (ACM) per ASTM B801 or B836
INSULATION
Abrasion, heat and moisture resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation XLPE, low coefficient of friction, "slippery" or "slick" material.
