The Y2 series 1 hp motor 1440 rpm is an updated product of the Y series motor and is a general-purpose fully enclosed self-fan-cooled squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motor. It is the latest product in my country in the 1990s, and its overall level has reached the level of similar foreign products in the early 1990s. The product is used in various fields of the national economy, such as machine tools, water pumps, fans, compressors, and can also be used in transportation, mixing, printing, agricultural machinery, food and other occasions that do not contain flammable, explosive or corrosive gases.

Motor operation failure and corresponding protection measures
Rated working current is an important working parameter of the motor. It is a safe working area to operate within the rated current range. Changes in mechanical load or power supply voltage will cause changes in operating current. When an abnormal situation occurs, the motor will be overloaded, the speed will drop, the current in the motor windings will increase, and the temperature of the windings will increase if the current exceeds the rated operating current.
Overload will cause the aging of the motor winding insulation and shorten the service life of the motor. In severe cases, the winding insulation breakdown will cause short-circuit, winding burnout and other faults.
Motor overload operation refers to the abnormal increase in winding temperature due to the increase in slip rate and overcurrent, so it is also called overcurrent operation. The relationship between the magnitude of the motor overcurrent and the overcurrent time is called the overload characteristic. In actual operation, short-term overload and low overload of the motor are inevitable and allowed. The magnitude of the overcurrent is inversely proportional to the allowable time of the overcurrent, which is called the inverse time protection feature.
