MY series aluminum case electric motor 1 hp single phase is made of good quality materials. MY motor has good starting and running performance, low noise, small volume, light weight, and convenient maintenance etc. MY 240v electric motor is mainly suitable for low starting torque equipment, such as fans and water pumps, small machine tools/medical equipment/household appliances/food processing and other machinery power devices. MY single-phase aluminum housing motors comply with IEC standards. Running torque is 0.3-0.7 times of the rated torque.

FAQ
Matters needing attention on three-phase asynchronous motor before starting
Check the newly installed or long-term out of service motor before starting.
①Check the insulation resistance between the motor winding and the winding to the ground (shell) with an insulation resistance meter. Generally, a motor with a rated voltage of 380 volts is measured with a 500 volt insulation resistance meter, and its insulation resistance value should not be less than 0.5 meters, otherwise it should be dried.
②According to the technical data on the motor nameplate, check whether the rated power of the motor is appropriate, and check whether the rated voltage and frequency of the motor are consistent with the power supply voltage and frequency. And check whether the connection of the motor is consistent with the nameplate.
③Check whether the motor bearing has lubricating oil, and whether the sliding bearing reaches the specified oil level.
④Check whether the rated current of the solution meets the requirements, whether the wiring of the starting device is correct, whether the starting device is flexible, whether there is jamming, and whether the contacts are in good contact. When using an autotransformer for decompression start, you also need to check whether the autotransformer tap is selected correctly, whether the autotransformer decompression starter is short of oil, and whether the oil quality is qualified, etc.
⑤Check whether the motor foundation is stable and whether the bolts are tightened.
⑥Check whether the grounding of the motor base, power cord steel pipe, and the metal shell of the starting device is reliable.
⑦For three-phase asynchronous motors with wound rotors, check whether the brushes and the brush lifting device are flexible and normal. Check whether the brush is in good contact with the slip ring and whether the brush pressure is appropriate.
