How does Liyuan Motor prevent the motor from burning?
1. Work under rated load
The main reason for the motor overload operation is that the traction load is too large, the voltage is too low, or the driven machine is stuck. When the motor is overloaded, the motor speed decreases, the current increases, the temperature rises, and the winding coils are overheated. If the motor is overloaded for a long time, the motor will burn out due to aging failure at high temperature. This is the main reason why the motor burns out.
Therefore, when the motor is running, it is necessary to regularly check whether the transmission is flexible and reliable. Check and adjust the tightness of the transmission belt and the coaxiality of the coupling at any time. If a traffic jam occurs, stop immediately to find out the cause and correct the problem. Run it later.
2. Maintain normal temperature
Frequently check whether the temperature of bearings, stators, housings and other parts of the motor is abnormal, especially for motors without voltage, current and frequency monitoring devices and without overload protection devices. Monitoring the temperature rise is particularly important.
If the temperature near the bearing rises too high, stop the machine immediately to check whether the bearing is damaged or does not contain oil. If the bearing is damaged, it should be replaced with a new one before operation. When the bearing oil is used up, grease should be added, otherwise it will further damage the bearing, cause the frame to collapse, cause holes and burn the motor.
