MC series aluminum shell single phase 230v 50hz ac motor is induction motor that use one capacitor in the auxiliary winding circuit to produce a larger phase difference between the current in the main and the auxiliary winding. This series motor uses a start capacitor for the purpose of the starting of motor. Obviously, it has high starting torque, which is 3-4.5 times larger than rated torque. This series motor is used in a multitude of application where the higher starting torque is demanded, such as air-compressors, pumps, refrigerators, air conditioner compressors, conveyors and machine tools.

Classification of motor types-vertical motor
Types of motors for vertical motors
1. According to the starting and operating mode classification, the motor can be divided into capacitor-starting single-phase asynchronous motor, capacitor-operating single-phase asynchronous motor, capacitor-starting operating single-phase asynchronous motor and split-phase single-phase asynchronous motor according to the starting and operating mode.
2. Classification according to purpose Motors can be divided into driving motors and control motors according to their usage. Driving motors are divided into electric tools (including drilling, polishing, polishing, slotting, cutting, reaming, etc.) motors, household appliances (including washing machines, electric fans, refrigerators, air conditioners, tape recorders, video recorders, and DVDs). Motors for machines, vacuum cleaners, cameras, hair dryers, electric shavers, etc.) and other general small machinery equipment (including various small machine tools, small machinery, medical equipment, electronic instruments, etc.). Control motors are divided into stepping motors and servo motors.
3. According to the structure of the rotor, the motor can be divided into a cage induction motor (the old standard is called a squirrel cage asynchronous motor) and a wound rotor induction motor (the old standard is called a wound asynchronous motor) according to the structure of the rotor.
