The Y2 series 0.37 kw 3 phase motor is an updated product of the Y series motor and is a general-purpose fully enclosed self-fan-cooled squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motor. It is the latest product in my country in the 1990s, and its overall level has reached the level of similar foreign products in the early 1990s. The product is used in various fields of the national economy, such as machine tools, water pumps, fans, compressors, and can also be used in transportation, mixing, printing, agricultural machinery, food and other occasions that do not contain flammable, explosive or corrosive gases.

FAQ
The common causes of motor overheating are as follows:
① The ambient temperature is too high. When the ambient temperature is high (generally more than 35°C), the heat dissipation efficiency of the motor will decrease. If the output power of the motor is not reduced at this time, the temperature of the motor will increase.
② Excessive dust inside the motor and the shell affects the heat dissipation.
③The fan is damaged or the fan is installed upside down, and the cooling air volume is reduced.
④ The hot air discharged by the motor cannot be quickly dissipated and cooled, and is immediately sucked into the interior by the motor fan, causing thermal circulation to overheat the motor.
Troubleshooting:
To avoid similar accidents, the following measures should be taken.
① In places with a lot of dust, open-type or protective (J-type) motors should not be used.
②The dust and sundries in the ventilation duct of the motor should be cleaned frequently to keep the ventilation and heat dissipation of the motor in good condition.
③ Once it is found that the voltage of the motor is normal and the load current does not exceed the rated current value, the temperature rise should be shut down for inspection, and if necessary, it should be disassembled for inspection and cleaning. Don't start production blindly before finding out the reason for the increase in temperature. If it is determined that the ventilation is poor, the operation monitoring should be strengthened when the machine is turned on after cleaning, and the temperature rise does not increase after 2 hours after the machine is turned on and the load is added, and the fault can be considered as having been eliminated.
