Liyuan Motor Analyzes the Motor's Sweeping Trouble

Many people don't know the cause of the motor's borehole failure. This article will give you an analysis of the editor of Liyuan Motor.


When the gap between the inner ring and the journal or the outer ring and the end cover of the bearing is greater than 0.1mm, the stator and rotor may rub (sweep). When the bore is lighter, the motor can still start and run, but the temperature rises, and the winding will burn out for a long time, and it cannot start and run when it is heavier. Disassembling the motor with the failure of the sweeping bore can see the purple-blue scratched surface. Most of the motors that have the phenomenon of bearing rotating sleeves are aluminum shell motors.


The reasons for the transfer are:

a. Poor processing accuracy;

b. Frequent and unreasonable disassembly and assembly. The inner sleeve of the bearing and the journal are tightly fitted, and the outer sleeve and the end cover are processed into a zero fit or a slight tightness


In some motors, special steel sheets are installed between the outer shell and the end cover to prevent the bearing jacket from rotating. Some bearing up and down (the bearing should be heated for correct disassembly and assembly) or the anti-rotation steel sheet is lost, which will cause the phenomenon of bearing rotation. For motors with bearing rotating sleeve phenomenon, in the past, most of the motor bearings were repaired by the chiseling method, but the effect (especially the end cover) was not ideal. Practice believes that the use of adhesive method to repair motor bearings, the effect is better.


Metallic glue is used for motors with higher power and higher speed, and chlorine tincture glue for motors with lower power and lower speed. The maintenance method is to clean the rotating sleeve first, add grease, and then apply glue, and then install the motor. For the more serious rotating sleeve, the gap between the inner ring of the bearing and the journal or the outer cover and the end cover is large, a metal sheet of appropriate thickness can be used to pad in the gap. In order to ensure concentricity, the metal sheet should be made into an oblique mouth. The practice of repairing motor bearings shows that most motors can be restored to normal by coating them with appropriate glue in the motor bearing gaps.
