Features of 50a Battery Connector
Silver plated contacts - offers greater longevity when using high power, elevated temperature applications.Terminals can either be crimped or soldered to the cables.
Mechanically keyed housings - (Interlocking pairs) prevents accidental component mating (each connector slots into the other - there is no male and female version)
Single-piece housing - provides industrial strength quality and durability.Flat wiping contact system - wiping action cleans the contact surface during disconnection.
Install of 50A battery connectors:.
1. Strip the insulation to fit the terminal pins.
2. Insert the cable into the terminal pins.
3. Crimp the terminal pins.
4. Insert terminal pins in housing with notched side of tongue next to spring.
5. Final adjustment Push contacts and cable into housing until the notched tongue snaps over end of spring; tug slightly to make sure contact is locked into place.
