Lock & Stop Drain-Lock

2″ Drains – T45 Bolt Head
3″ Drains – T45 Bolt Head
4″ Drains – T45 Bolt Head

1. Lock and drain stop work by inserting an expandable steel cross thread bar in a drain about 2″ below the drain strainer. The crossbar exerts enough force against the interior wall of the drain without move
2. A bolt is inserted through the drain strainer, and the threaded bar is through the immovable cross member in the drain
3. The lock drain can’t be unlocked with a wrong or old screwdriver. Lock & Stop comes with a tamper-proof Torx T40 or T45 bolt. The socket bit is sold separately.
Check the Inside Diameter (ID) of your drain pipe and a reference table below to confirm what sizes Lock & Stop will fit your drain strainer.

Introduction: what is a drained lock?
A drain lock is a device that helps to prevent clogs in your drains. It works by trapping hair and other debris in a mesh screen, allowing water to pass through while stopping the waste from going down the drain. This can be a helpful tool in preventing clogs and keeping your gutters flowing freely.

How drain-locks work
A drain lock is a device that helps to prevent water from draining out of a sink, shower, or tub. It creates a seal around the drain that prevents water from escaping. Drain locks are typically made of rubber or silicone and can be easily installed by simply placing them over the drain.

Lock & Stop Drain-Lock is an effective way to keep water in a sink, shower, or tub and can be used in both residential and commercial settings. They are often used when it is necessary to keep water from draining out, such as when cleaning the sink or shower. It can also prevent flooding when the drainage system is not working correctly.

The benefits of using a drain-lock
A drain lock is a small, simple device that can save you time, cost, and frustration. Here are three reasons to start using a drained lock in your home:

1. Save on plumbing bills: A drain lock prevents hair, soap scum, and other debris from going down the drain, which can cause clogs. Over time, these clogs can build up and cause expensive damage to your plumbing. A drain lock will pay for itself by extending the life of your plumbing.

2. Save time cleaning drains: A drain lock catches the debris before it can go down the drain, so you won’t have to spend time fishing it out later. This is especially helpful in showers, where hair can quickly clog the drain.

The different types of drain-locks
There are four drain locks: the plunger, the snake, the auger, and the pump.

The plunger is the most common type of drain lock. It is a small, hand-held device that uses suction to block drains. The snake is a long, flexible rod used to dislodge clogs. The auger is a coil of wire used to bore through clogs. The pump is a mechanical device that uses pressure to force water through clogged drains.

How to choose the right drain-lock
There are many factors to consider when choosing the right stop-lock for your needs. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. The size of the lock. Make sure to measure the diameter of your drain before purchasing a lock, as they come in different sizes.

2. The type of material. Drain locks are typically made from plastic or metal. Consider which material would be best for your needs.

3. The price. Prices for drain-lock stops vary depending on the size and material. Compare prices from different retailers before making a purchase.

4. The return policy. If the drain lock you choose doesn’t work out, make sure you can return it quickly for a refund or exchange.
