Radiant Floor Manifold

JX-0704

Radiant Floor Manifold

  • Stainless steel Manifold
  • This radiant floor heating system includes body flow meters with adjustable flow rates and an isolation ball valve with 1″ NPT thread made of high-quality brass forging.
  • This PEX Manifold set is pressure tested and pre-assembled. Simply mount the Manifold on brackets and connect the valves and PEX tubing.
  • PEX Manifold adapters with the Manifold are compatible with any PEX tubing – but we have no adapters, Compression type connections & push fittings for ease of installation
  • There is an automatic float-type air vent for air elimination purposes. It also includes a cap for pressure testing purposes.
  • Manufactured from corrosion-resistant and durable Stainless Steel to last for life
  • Compatible with any PEX tubing – no special adapters needed
  • Simply mount the Manifold on brackets and connect the valves and PEX tubing
  • The Manifold connects the heat source – a boiler, heat pump, or other – with the water underfloor heating circuits, regulates the incoming water temperature via the Mixing Unit, and distributes this warm water throughout the floor circuits, an energy-efficient heating system.
  • Manifolds are used in all underfloor heating systems above 25m2, irrespective of floor type. Manifolds are supplied complete and fixed with a wall mounting bracket. The Manifold comes complete with a drain and air vent assembly positioned on either end of the Manifold. The isolation valves are supplied separately for the supply end of the Manifold.

  • Heating Manifold Components & Parts:
    • Flow Gauge: The flow gauge indicates the flow rate through each floor circuit for the zone.
    • Flow Temperature Gauge: The warm water flows toward the flow manifold. The temperature is then shown on the flow temperature gauge.
    • Flow Change: The flow change valve allows users to adjust the rate of flow.
    • Pressure Gauge: The pressure gauge plays a good role in the flow return manifold rail. It helps measure pressure during the pressure test.
    • Filling/Drain off Valve: The filling and drain valve is for the initial fill. It is also used for draining the heating system.
    • Air Vent: It is on the Manifold’s ‘flow’ and ‘return’ arms to remove air from the heating system.
    • Actuators: One can install Actuators in conjunction with heating manifold stations. The actuator makes it possible to control individual zones with a room thermometer. Actuators are from a small alternating current heated motor. The unit screws onto a manifold valve. One can buy an Actuator with switches. Actuators without switches are also available. When the thermostat shows the temperature, the actuator opens a valve. This process takes up to almost five minutes to complete. You can zone off a building by installing actuators. It lets every connection create its zone. However, this procedure might raise the cost of a heating system high.
    • Manifold Mixing Unit: Mixing Unit unites water coming from the heating source. The main purpose is to maintain a unified temperature for the system. The Mixing Unit permits the temperature to rise to 60 degrees Celsius. And the lowest range is up to 20 degrees. The Mixing Unit consists of 3 parts: lower Arm, Upper Arm, and Circulator.
    • Return Temperature Gauge: This analyses the difference between flow and return water temperature.
    • Isolation and Commissioning Valves: These are the vital parts of Heating Manifold arms. Sometimes the Isolation Valvesallow the Manifold for isolation. You can control water flow by the Commissioning Valves. It permits the system to get full or drained and pressure tested.
    • Wiring Centre: The heating system follows Electricity. The Wiring Centre of the Manifold controls the Electricity. It creates a connection among all the components of the Manifold.
    • Setpoint Controls: Setpoint controls protect concrete from cracking. If the heating system becomes overheated, the water temperature rises as well. The room thermostat is not capable of sensing this temperature. That’s why it can’t switch off the heat source. As a result, concrete might get broken, which has occurred many times. Setpoint control is the one that prevents this from happening.
    • Electronic reset controls: The alternative to setpoint control is an electronic reset control. This control maintains the temperature of the supply water. When one wants to reduce up-down temperatures, reset controls work very well. For a direct piping system, the heat source should have three features. Firstly a source that accepts low temperature returns to water. Secondly, a source that has continuous circulation. And finally, a source that has either a setpoint control or a reset control.
