The basic structure

The basic structure of centrifugal pump is composed of eight parts, respectively: impeller, pump body, pump cover, water retaining ring, pump shaft, bearing, sealing ring, stuffing box, axial force balance device.

1. The impeller is the core part of the centrifugal pump, which has high speed and large output force.

2, the pump body is also known as the pump shell, it is the main body of the pump. It plays a supporting and fixing role and is connected with the bracket for installation of bearings.

3, the role of the pump shaft is to connect the coupling and the motor, the torque of the motor to the impeller, so it is the main part of the transfer of mechanical energy

4, sealing ring is also called leak reduction ring.

5. The stuffing box is mainly made of packing, so that the water in the pump does not flow outside and the air outside does not enter the pump. Always keep a vacuum in the pump! When the pump shaft and the packing friction heat will depend on the water seal pipe injection into the water seal ring to cool the packing!

6, the axial force balance device, in the process of centrifugal pump operation, because the liquid is in low pressure into the impeller, and under the high pressure flow, the impeller pressure on both sides, the pointing in the direction the entrance of the axial thrust, will cause the rotor axial channeling, wear and vibration of the axial thrust bearing, and therefore should be set in order to balance the axial force.
