Application
The rated voltage 0.6/1kv power cable can be divided into ordinary type, flame retardant type, fire-resistant type and low smoke halogen-free type.
The normal type is suitable for transmission and distribution lines with low voltage of 0.6/1kv and below.
The main characteristics of flame retardant power cable are that the cable is not easy to fire or the ignition delay is limited to a certain extent, and it is suitable for power stations, subway, tunnel, high-rise buildings, large industrial and mining enterprises, oil fields, coal mines and other places with high cable laying density.
The main characteristics of fire-resistant power cable are that in addition to the normal working conditions, the cable can still keep normal operation for a certain time when it is on fire and combustion, and it is suitable for the places related to fire safety and fire fighting and life-saving in nuclear power station, subway, tunnel, high-rise building, etc.
The characteristics of low smoke halogen-free flame retardant power cable are not only flame retardant performance, but also low smoke and harmless (less toxic and corrosive type), and it is suitable for places with special requirements for cable flame retardant, smoke density and toxicity index, such as subway, tunnel, nuclear power station, etc

according to 8.1GB/T 12706.1-2008,GB/T 3956-2008,GB/T19666-2005,IEC 60502-1:2004,IEC60332,IEC60311, and/or the BS, DIN and/or other types of international standards.
Construction
Conductor: Solid or stranded copper/Aluminum
Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Filler: Polypropylene filament with lapped binding tape
Binder: Binding tape
Inner sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Armouring: Single Core: AWA (Aluminium Wire Armour)
Multi Core: SWA (Steel Wire Armour) STA (Steel Tape Armour)
Sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Technical Data
1. Long term working temperature for the cable with PVC insulated is 70℃;
Long term working temperature for the cable with XLPE insulated is 90℃
2. Short circuit temperature
For PVC insulated cable, the highest conductor temperature is not more than160℃.(lasting time not over 5 seconds).
For XLPE insulated cable, the highest conductor temperature is not more than250℃.(Lasting time is not over 5 seconds).
3. Laying temperature not less than 0℃ and the drop height is out of consideration.
