Introduction
The Slotted Round Nut is used across a number of applications including electrical engineering.

Application
Shaft Nuts, or Slotted Round Nuts are round heavy-duty nuts with external slotted lobes designed to locate bearings on shafts. Similar in appearance to a conduit lock nut, but much heavier duty. The slotted lobes are usually used as an aid to tightening and they may have a locking feature.
