The VS1 series withdrawable vacuum circuit breaker is equipped with a "truck“ to form a handcart unit, which is used in kYN28A and other intermediate type switchgear.The main circuit  adopts a structure in which a vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is sealed in an insulating pole. The insulation tube is cast by epoxy resin using the APG process, so the creepage performance is strong.This structural design can not only prevent the vacuum interrupter from being damaged by external factors, but also ensure that it can present a high resistance state to the voltage effect even in hot and humid and severely polluted environments.


The operating mechanism is an important part of the high voltage vacuum circuit breaker. VS1 series VCB adopts independent spring energy storage type operating mechanism, with manual and energy storage functions. Equipped with a mechanical anti-jump device as standard, various locking mechanisms can be installed to prevent misoperation.The advantages of the spring operating mechanism are that it does not require a high-power DC power supply, the motor power is small, dual-use AC and DC, suitable for AC operation, but the disadvantages are complex structure, large number of parts (up to 200), high processing accuracy,  complicated manufacturing process and high cost.

The operating mechanism is placed in the chassis in front of the arc extinguishing chamber and has a splint structure. This integrated structure design can make the operation performance more consistent with the performance required by the opening and closing of the arc extinguishing chamber, thus reducing unnecessary intermediate transmission links, reducing energy consumption and noise, and making the operation performance of the vacuum circuit breaker more reliable. Users can directly put it into operation without adjustment.

Product characteristics


1. The vacuum medium has high insulation strength, strong arc extinguishing ability, large breaking current, short arc duration, low arc voltage, small contact electrical wear, many breaking times, long electrical life, generally up to 20 years.

2. After the arc is cut off, the recovery speed of dielectric strength is fast and the inertia of the moving conducting rod is small. It is suitable for frequent operation and quick cut-off occasions and has multiple reclosing functions.

3. As the vacuum medium will not age or need to be replaced, the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber and contact parts do not need maintenance within the service life, so the maintenance workload is small and the maintenance cost is low.

4. Friendly to the environment. The disconnection is carried out in a closed container, and the arc and hot metal vapor will not splash out to pollute the surrounding environment. During operation, there is no serious noise, inflammable and explosive medium, explosion and fire hazard.

    monthly average relative humidity: ≤ 90%
    daily average vapor pressure: ≤ 2.2 × 10-3 MPa
    monthly average vapor pressure: ≤ 1.8 × 10-3 MPa;

  3. Altitude: not more than 3000 m;

  4.  Seismic intensity: not more than 8 degrees;

  5.  No dripping, no flammability and explosion in the place of use Explosion hazard, no chemical corrosive gas and no violent vibration.
