About motor
Adverse effects after the base is deformed
Due to the existence of resonance phenomenon in the motor operation, it often appears at a certain speed, and it is fleeting during the starting process. Therefore, the deformation of the base is not easy to be detected. The deformation caused by the inadequate aging is not easy to be noticed. If it is a welding machine base, it takes a long time for the welding stress to be completely released, so it is difficult to find during processing, which is a typical hidden quality hazard.
If the coaxiality of the two spigots of the machine base is out of tolerance, the bearings at both ends of the motor will be damaged prematurely because they cannot operate normally on the same axis. Make the air gap between the stator and rotor uneven, causing vibration and electromagnetic noise.
The feet are no longer on the same plane, which can easily damage the coaxiality with the device being dragged. If it is pulled hard by the foot bolts, it is easy to break the foot.
The frame is prone to uneven deformation in the radial direction. If the frame shrinks unevenly at the core due to deformation, the stator core will bear uneven radial force. The more poles of the motor, the greater the deformation range due to the narrow stator yoke, and the air gap is smaller than that of the 2- or 4-pole motor, so the borehole problem is more likely to occur.
