The motor is rated at 50Hz, can it run under the frequency conversion of 70Hz?
The mechanical strength is different. Including the bearings of the motor, the mechanical strength of the base is much greater than that of ordinary motor materials.
Take an ordinary four-pole motor here. The calculation formula for the speed of a three-phase AC asynchronous motor is: n=60f/p; where n represents the speed of the motor (r/min min); 60 represents every minute (seconds); f is the power frequency (Hz); p is the number of pole pairs of the motor's magnetic field.
It can be seen from the above speed calculation formula that there are only two ways to change the speed of the motor, namely; ① change the power supply frequency; ② change the number of pole pairs of the stator coil winding of the motor. The country stipulates that the standard power frequency is 50Hz. According to the fixed frequency, substituted into the calculation formula, the number of pole pairs of the motor is inversely proportional to the speed, that is, the more the number of pole pairs, the lower the speed of the motor. When the number of magnetic pole pairs p=1, the synchronous speed of the rotating magnetic field of the motor is n=3000; when p=2, the synchronous speed of the rotating magnetic field is n=1500; p=3, n=1000; p=4, n= 750; p=5, n=600;
Because the rotor electromagnetic induction of the three-phase asynchronous AC motor is induced by the synchronous rotation speed of the stator, it has a slip rate, so the rotation speed of the motor rotor will never reach the rotating magnetic field rotation speed in the stator winding coil. The normal four-pole three-phase motor speed is 1450r/min; if the frequency is 70Hz, according to the calculation formula n=60fp=60×70/2=4200/2=2100r/min; the frequency increases by 20Hz, and the speed increases by 600r/min, An average increase of 10 revolutions per second. Even if it is not overloaded, the time of ordinary motor is a little longer, the motor will heat up and burn the winding coil or damage the bearing due to the increase in speed.
