FSC-A6 type six screen impactor air microorganism sampler is composed of impactor and main As a unit. The impactor is a six-layer aluminum disc with tiny holes. AGAR plate is placed under the disc, and there is a sealing rubber ring between each disc, and the disc is firmly linked together through three spring hooks. Each disk has 400 holes of precise size arranged in a circle, layer by layer, and a standard sampling flow rate of 1 cubic foot per minute. When the airflow containing microbial particles enters the upper sampling port, due to the increase of airflow velocity layer by layer, microbial particles of different sizes impact on the corresponding AGAR surface according to aerodynamic characteristics. The size range of particles trapped at each stage is determined by the airflow velocity of the hole and the particle interception rate of the upper stage. Levels 1 and 2 mimic human upper respiratory tract particles, and levels 3 to 6 mimic human lower respiratory tract particles, which substantially replicate the penetration and retention sites of these particles in the respiratory tract.
