【XWBOO Market Analysis】 The latest industrial operation analysis by Jiangsu Industry and Information Technology Department shows that Jiangsu's industrial added value increased by 6.1%, 6.3%, 9.9% and 10.5% in June, July, August and September respectively. Due to the low base of the same period of last year, the growth rate in January-September was 4.5% year on year, up 0.9 percentage point over January-August and 2.4 percentage points over the first half of the year. Industrial power consumption data, known as a barometer of the industrial economy, also confirmed the growth, with the province's industrial power consumption rising 1.1 percent year-on-year in the first three quarters. Over 60% of the industries realized growth, of which the equipment manufacturing industry performed well, with a year-on-year growth rate of 7.5% in the first three quarters, and the electric and automobile industries played a strong support. According to the statistics on the output of major industrial products specified by Jiangsu Province from January to August 2022 released by the Jiangsu Provincial Statistics Bureau, the output of medium-sized tractors of industrial enterprises above designated size in Jiangsu Province increased by 14.1 percent year-on-year to 3,352.0 sets in August 2022. The growth rate was 39.9 percentage points higher than the same period of 2021, 11.0 percentage points higher than that of the whole country, accounting for 16.6% of the national output of 20,205 medium-sized tractors by enterprises above designated size in the same period.
From January to August 2022, the output of medium-sized tractors of industrial enterprises above designated size in Jiangsu dropped by 14.0% year on year to 41,217.0 sets, 33.2 percentage points lower than the same period of 2021 and 7.4 percentage points lower than that of the whole country. It accounted for 20.7% of the 198,932 medium-sized tractors produced by enterprises above the designated size in the same period.
