【XWBOO Market Analysis】 "There are many lakes in the Taklimakan Desert in Xinjiang," and many people are optimistic that the "Loulan Oasis" will really come back. Experts, however, are less sanguine, and it is all the more worrying to delve into the causes of these desert lakes.

The Urumqi Meteorological Satellite Ground Station analyzed the monitoring data, and the Bazhou Meteorological Bureau conducted a field survey, which showed that the "desert lake" beauty spread over the Internet was about in the area of the Luobian Village Scenic Area in Yuli County. The causes of these lakes are as follows: (1) the ecological water from the Tarim River Basin to the original Populus euphratica forest; (2) the floodplain water overflowed from the river after the warning flood in the Tarim River Basin.

All this is due to this year's extremely high temperature, the Xinjiang Climate Center relevant responsible person responded that since the flood season this year, the temperature in southern Xinjiang has been continuously rising, Urumqi Meteorological Satellite Ground Station also said. In mid-September, most mountainous areas in southern Xinjiang had less snow by 4 to 80% than in the same period of previous years, while the regional average precipitation in August rose by 105% year-on-year, and even the highest counties and cities reached 216%.

High-temperature snow melt on one side and frequent rainfall on the other, the Ministry of Water Resources said that from late May to late September, the main stream of the Tarim River experienced a flood process lasting 80 days. Some experts said that the "desert lake" is not actually a lake, because it has not had time to infiltrate into the desert.

So will global warming accelerate the desert to become an oasis?

According to the deputy director of the Urumqi Institute of Desert Meteorology of the China Meteorological Administration, the precipitation in southern Xinjiang has always been low, and the current increase trend is not significant, there is still a gap compared with the huge evaporation amount, and the observed data show that. Under the background of increasing temperature, the climate in Xinjiang is still becoming dry.

Finally, recent research results show that the number of small lakes in the Tahe River Basin has not increased. In other words, "desert to oasis" is "dependent on the warming of the climate, at least temporarily not enough proof, but to aggravate the drought situation. This further proves that the achievement of the goal of carbon neutrality is imperative, and the global campaign to reduce emissions can only go forward without going back.

In this process, desert control is still to rely on more scientific methods, overall planning.

The so-called "desert control" generally refers to controlling the spread of desert by water and other technical means, and the breakthrough is to increase vegetation coverage and relieve water shortage. There may be many people do not know that China is one of the most serious desertification countries in the world, but we are more familiar with the mention of sandstorms in the north, especially in the north. If it is a long-term residential, the environmental conditions for the recent years should also be the most profound feeling.

After a long period of "struggle," China has accumulated rich experience in desert control, and the technical level has made a qualitative leap. Kubuqi (its) is a typical case of China's desertification control, which was also established as a "global desert eco-economic demonstration zone" by the United Nations Environment Program in 2014, and before that, it had always been named the "Sea of Death." The area ranks seventh in our country.

The scheme adopted in the Kubuqi Desert is "ecological desertification control and sink enhancement + photovoltaics desertification control and emission reduction," that is to say, on the one hand, the water circulation system of "the Yellow River - Kubuqi - the Yellow River" is built. On the other hand, Mengxi Base, the largest photovoltaic desertification control base in the country, has been built, with a 2 million kilowatt-hour project that can rehabilitate and harness 100,000 mu of desert and supply about 4 billion kilowatt-hours of green power annually. At the same time, the photovoltaic panel module can also play a certain degree of windproof, prevent sand dunes from moving, shading to reduce soil moisture evaporation and other functions.

On this basis, Kubuqi has also launched the desert big data analysis system, built the largest germplasm resource bank in western China, and cultivated more than 1,000 species of plants resistant to cold, drought and salinity. The micro-invasive airflow tree planting method, spiral drilling tree planting method and UAV aerial seeding technology are used to realize more effective planting and greening.

With the development of science and technology, the country attaches great importance to desertification control, and a large number of human, material and financial resources are invested, China has actually been in the forefront of desert control, and various means emerge in endlessly. For example, a domestic scientific research team has developed a plant cellulose binder, which can effectively condense sand after sand is mixed, and lock moisture and nutrients, which is very conducive to planting. It is reported that the trial field has been successful at present, and the scale is close to two thousand mu by 2021, and the transformation into the standard is about 3000-5000 yuan / mu.

Of course, although some achievements have been made, the task is still arduous, and the current situation of desertification is not optimistic. The successful experience can only be used for reference. after all, the desert environment is inherently complex, and the harsh conditions can not be turned around overnight, and the high cost and long time are common conditions, so we should continue to work hard.

It may not be a good thing to pass on the beauty of "desert lakes" online
