FAQ
What is Winding?
The coil group composed of several coils connected in series is called winding. The windings of a three-phase asynchronous motor are composed of windings with the same three-phase structure and 120° electrical angles in space. Three-phase stator windings are divided into single-layer windings, double-layer windings, and single- and double-layer hybrid windings according to the arrangement of stator core slots.
The terms of the winding components of the three-phase asynchronous motor are as follows:
①Pole pitch τ: the range occupied by each magnetic pole on the inner circumference of the stator, expressed by the number of stator slots τ=Z/2P, where Z——the number of stator slots (in the inner circle of the stator core, there are evenly punched Several holes of the same shape). P-the number of magnetic pole pairs (the number of magnetic pole pairs of a 2-pole motor P=1, the number of magnetic pole pairs of a 4-pole motor P=2, and so on).
② Pitch (also a span) Y: The distance between two effective sides of a winding element, expressed by the number of stator slots. Considering the maximum induced electromotive force generated by the winding, Y should be close to τ, that is, Y≈τ=Z/2P (Y=τ is called full-distance winding; Y<τ is called short-distance winding; Y>τ is called long-distance winding, due to waste of metal Material, generally not used.)
③Electrical angle α: refers to the angle of change of AC electromotive force, current, etc. α=Pθ, where θ——the mechanical angle of the stator circumference.
④Number of slots per pole per phase g: refers to the number of slots occupied by each phase winding under each magnetic pole, also known as phase band. g=Z/2pm=Z/2P×3
⑤Pole phase group: a combination of several winding elements (coils) of the same phase under each magnetic pole.
