The YEJ2 electromagnetic brake ac induction motor is a fully enclosed self-fan-cooled squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motor with an additional disc type DC brake. It has the advantages of rapid braking, simple structure, high reliability, and strong versatility. In addition, the brake has a manual release mechanism and is widely used in various mechanical equipment and transmission devices that require quick stop and precise positioning. The flange installation dimensions of this series are the same as the Y2 series.

FAQ
What causes the YEJ motor to catch fire? How to prevent it?
When the oil pump motor cannot be maintained normally and used improperly for a long time, it is prone to fire. To prevent fires from electric motors, we must first understand the hidden dangers of motor fires. As far as the motor itself is concerned, there are several reasons for the motor to catch fire.
1. Internal short circuit
When the winding is damp, the insulation is aging, overvoltage breakdown and mechanical damage, etc., it will cause the insulation to rupture and damage, causing a short circuit between phases, turns or to ground, causing the temperature of the motor to rise sharply, and even "sparking" discharge, causing a fire.
2. Loss of phase operation
When the three-phase asynchronous motor is running under phase loss, if it is under the rated load, its current increases to 1.73 times the rated value; if the motor is started in the locked-rotor state, the starting current is 4 to 7 times the rated value. If the above-mentioned time is too long, the windings will be burnt out due to overheating.
