What causes the oil pump motor to catch fire? How to prevent it?

1. Frequent startup

2. Poor contact

3. Short circuit of iron core

Due to poor quality or manufacturing process, the iron core of the motor is short-circuited, and the eddy current loss increases significantly, which causes the iron core to overheat, which causes the motor to catch fire.


4. Mechanically locked rotor

When the motor is improperly installed or foreign matter enters, the rotor is jammed due to insufficient lubricating oil or dirty lubricating oil, or the driven machinery is jammed, causing the current of the motor to increase sharply, causing the winding temperature to rise too high And on fire.
