The project plans to invest 3 billion yuan to build a 10GWh power storage battery project.
On 28 September Ningde Times announced that it intends to invest in the construction of the Luoyang New Energy Battery Production Base Project in Yibin District, Luoyang City, Henan Province, with a total investment of no more than RMB 14 billion. Ningde Times said, with the rapid development of the global new energy industry, the next few years power battery and energy storage battery shipments will enter the "TWh" era, in order to seize the historical opportunity of the rapid development of the new energy industry, to further improve the layout of the production base, the company intends to make corresponding capacity investment.
On 28 September, Ganfeng Lithium announced that it had recently signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Yichun Municipal People's Government to invest in the construction of a new lithium battery production and manufacturing base with an annual output of 30 GWh, a lithium metal project with an annual output of 7,000 tons and a lithium hydroxide project with an annual output of 50,000 tons in Fengcheng City.
